many New Orleanians are still feeling the effects of the storms...and have only begun to recover. Fleur de Lis Tees founder, Susan Bopp, wanted to find a way to raise money (via the t-shirt sales) and let those who have suffered so much know that there are people who still care. With the help of local retailers and tons of volunteers, the project has proven that miracles can happen when people join together to help others.

Why we're involved
All one has to do is enter into a conversation with anyone living in and around New Orleans. Every person...from every walk of life was effected. Today, the biggest toll is the post-Katrina stress. There are still so many people in need of comfort and support.

Stress Levels: "Through the Roof!"
It's been over two years since Katrina, and there are untold numbers of New Orleanians who are still going through an amazing amount of stressful circumstances related to rebuilding, insurance, the "waiting game", etc. If you are one of those persons --we've created a blog spot for you to sound off
on some of the issues that you are still confronting (no swear words, please!). Also, if there is a specific area of need that you have, post it and who knows -- perhaps there will be someone who reads it who can offer to lend a hand.
